Ashleigh attended NC State University's College of Design from August of 2003 to August 2007. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Industrial Design with honors.

While a student at NC State, Ashleigh excelled creatively, academically and professionally. A leader on campus, she served as a Peer Mentor to incoming freshman students, Symposium (Orientation) Counselor and President of the AADSA (African American Design Student Association). In addition to the training and skills acquired in the classroom, she gained valuable work experience in corporate America through a variety of internship and co-op experiences at IBM and Talecris Biotherapeutics.

When not working at the office or school, Ashleigh finds personal fulfillment in crafting her popular one-of a kind jewelry – each piece designed using the creative gift within her Soul. Her Soul Series jewelry line is a progressive, visual expression of her extensive training, inventiveness and imagination.

Ashleigh finds inspiration for design in her environment and recently had the opportunity to find more inspiration while traveling to Ghana, West Africa. She hopes to further her design career by gaining employment at a progressive, forward thinking company where she can maximize her creative talents.

. She believes that being a designer is a great responsibility - one must be obligated to improving all aspects of life, whether it be large or small.
